Position Opening: Kids worker for a summer theatre program

We are looking for a young person who has come out of post secondary school full-time and is heading back to school in the Fall who loves theatre, teaching and admin work.  This position is for a theatre program within Youth Unlimited.  The applicant should have transportation and accommodations in Mission or Abbotsford.

Responsibilities:
* Writing: training material, skits and plays
* On Camera Work with Students for the Creation of Volunteer Training Videos
* Creation of Promotional Posters with Students
* Oversee Adopt a Block Spring Clean Up, Bottle Drive, possibly one other fundraiser
* Prepare for and Teach a Class at Summer Theatre (Grades 3-12)
* Volunteer Recruitment
* Administrative Work
* Mentoring Students in our Theatre Company
* Strategic Planning for a Theatre Programme presented for the 2014 BC Winter Games in Mission, BC

Postion starts Monday, May 20th, 2013 and ends Saturday, August 31st, 2013 (30 hours per week, 14 weeks total). Wage rate is $12/hour.
