“The greatest fear of mu life,” says Vancouver carpenter Alec Roberts, “was finding out I was going to be a dad.”
What man who’s about to become a father for the firs time hasn’t felt that fear-the many questions and even the self-doubts that come with knowing you’re soon going to be responsible for the care and protection of a defenceless baby? “I had no father in my life, my mom struggled with addiction, alcoholism, abuse, all the stepdads,” he says.
