Job Opportunity: Coordinator of Human Resources

Greater Vancouver Youth Unlimited has an immediate opening for a Coordinator of Human Resources. The successful candidate for this full time position will be responsible for the many facets of Human Resources such as hiring, integration into the team, writing employment contracts, partner development coaching, HR policies, benefits packages and co-ordination of annual reviews.

The ideal candidate will have HR experience, be a team player, able to problem solve, the ability to work well with supervisors and directors, be encouraging and motivational. Previous experience in HR or related fields is a definite asset.

GVYU is a faith based organization that requires it’s members to develop their own financial support team. While a small portion of the compensation will be guaranteed by GVYU the majority of underwriting this position will be by personal partner development.

Young Families Youth Workers

Young Families is a dedicated team of Youth Unlimited with a vision to radically change lives and restore families in Surrey. We provide a safe, caring and supportive environment for parenting youth, aged 12 to 24. Our goal is to help break generational cycles of poverty and offer hope through a relationship with Jesus.

Youth Unlimited is currently looking for two full time youth workers to join our Young Families team in Surrey.


  • Post secondary education in youth work or related field
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience.


  • Relationship with Jesus and a desire to serve
  • Passion for youth, specifically marginalized youth in the community
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills


Young Moms Program Youth Worker:

  • Provide one on one support to new referrals
  • Assist and plan weekly programs
  • Help develop and maintain volunteer program

Young Dads Program Youth Worker:

  • Provide one on one support to new referrals
  • Assist and plan weekly programs
  • Provide outreach with community partners
