Helena Ramos

Helena grew up in a military family as a self-proclaimed “army brat,” spending seven years in Mozambique and what now is Guinea-Bissau. Helena came to Canada as a young teenager and by the time she graduated high school, had attended 14 different schools.
After working in the Insurance industry for over 20 years, Helena joined YU as an Administrative Assistant in Maple Ridge. She loves helping the team achieve their goals from behind the scenes. Helena is driven by the desire to help the youth in Maple Ridge flourish now and in the future.
In her spare time, Helena enjoys singing, crocheting, baking, reading, traveling, and meeting new people.
