As a young teen growing up in Vancouver, Amanda used to dream of seeing revival happen amongst her friends and in the streets of Vancouver. It was back then that Amanda’s passion for working with people began and first interacted with Youth Unlimited.
After high school, Amanda moved to Abbotsford to pursue a Youth Work degree from a local bible college, and in the midst of her degree found herself spending a year in Youth Unlimited’s Lifeteams program. It was during that year at Lifeteams where the call to work with youth really took ahold of her heart.
Years later, after finishing her undergrad and spending countless hours walking with teenagers in the Fraser Valley, Amanda is back in her hometown of Vancouver to join the Street Life team in East Van. Amanda believes in saying yes to Jesus when he asks, and moving home to walk with vulnerable youth is a part of that YES.
When Amanda’s not drinking coffee or going on adventures with youth, you can find her throwing dinner parties for friends, wandering aimlessly through department stores, and somehow always ending up at the ocean.
Together we can transform the world our youth live in—but we can’t do it without you.
