Passionate about the flourishing of our future generations; Jeff is driven to be part of the solution. In his role, he has the chance to help young dads to be empowered in raising their kids with as much emotional support and life tools as possible. “Nobody has a larger impact on these individuals than their parents.” Jeff says. “If parents are not able to sufficiently prepare and/or influence the next generation, the future is jeopardized.”
Committing much of his adult life to caring for his community, Jeff has a wealth of experience to support him in his ministry. Graduating from PLBC with a BA of Pastoral Leadership and Youth Ministry, alongside his experience in working for various social services agencies among adults with developmental disabilities and youth with eating disorders. He has developed many of the skills needed to care for the young dads of Surrey in a holistic way.
As the Young Dads Coordinator, Jeff is working to build healthy, meaningful relationships with youth to inspire, encourage, and equip them as fathers to grow in their roles as protectors.
Jeffrey shares his life with his wife Alexa, and their three kids; Dakota, Gwynneth, and Elijah. His eclectic range of passions include coffee, people, learning, ministry, leadership, mountain sports, traveling, fine arts, politics, and working out; but his weekly highlight in the midst of his busy schedule is the quality time he spends with Alexa, watching Survivor on a Thursday evening.
Together we can transform the world our youth live in—but we can’t do it without you.
