“Community has always been at the core of what drives me. Through a loving community, I found my passion for youth work and a drive to dedicate my heart to Youth Unlimited.”

As the manager for YU’s Young Families program, Louisa has seen how the richness of relationships breaks the cycle of poverty and brokenness. “Through YU, I have learned firsthand that long lasting, deep relationships have great transformative power. I believe in every single human’s potential for good and my whole being longs for those around me to be deeply known and loved.”

Louisa’s outreach focus is on young mothers and their children as she works alongside the amazing program team in Surrey. This brings her great joy. “I thoroughly enjoy watching women grow into themselves as they realize their passions and gifts and how they can share it with the community around them.”

When Louisa has free time, she loves adventure. Whether it is getting lost, walking endlessly, or catching a movie on a whim, she thrives on spontaneity. Her most recent spontaneous adventure? Exploring different cities in China!
