Rebecca Cabral, a youth worker in Abbotsford, BC, was born and raised in a Christian household in Winnipeg, MB. The experiences she had in her church profoundly impacted her revealing her passions and God’s calling. At the age of 12, she committed her life to Christ and began to discover her passion for walking alongside young people. Rebecca is motivated by a deep longing to build meaningful relationships, empower the younger generation, and introduce them to Jesus. She has experienced firsthand how He brings purpose and fills the emptiness she often felt inside.
Rebecca cherishes her time with friends and family. She has a great list of hobbies which include CrossFit, Olympic lifting, music, writing, sewing, volleyball, basketball, and hockey! These activities keep her mentally and physically healthy while also providing ways for her to build supportive relationships.
She holds certificates in ministry leadership and business from Summit Pacific Bible College. Rebecca went there to grow in her faith and identity in Christ. At the time she didn’t realize that God was preparing her for a career in missionary youth work with vulnerable teens – those who are growing up in families who have no church connection and do not provide opportunities to learn about and experience Jesus.
At Youth Unlimited, Rebecca found a team that shares her love for Jesus and prayerfully supports one another. They develop supportive relationships with young people, introduce them to new experiences, and foster confidence, empathy, and ambition.
By helping vulnerable youth realize their potential in Jesus, they can thrive. If you’re passionate about supporting youth, you are invited to prayerfully consider partnering with Rebecca in this ministry.
Together we can transform the world our youth live in—but we can’t do it without you.
