Why Ashley Ip is Sleeping Outside

On November 15, I'm joining a group of over 200 young people and youth leaders who are sleeping outside for one night, to help bring awareness and support to vulnerable youth in our community. About 47% of homeless people first experienced homelessness as a youth. Youth Unlimited works with these homeless and struggling youth to help change their trajectory, as well as works in active prevention against all vulnerabilities. Research shows even one positive adult in the life of a struggling youth greatly improves their chances of success in just 16 months. Youth Unlimited staff walk alongside youth, providing hope, help and opportunity. I'd be so honoured if you'd consider partnering with me and adding a contribution as l raise funds to help support youth across Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. My goal is to raise $500 or more to support Youth Unlimited's life-saving work.
