Why Cayde Cronan is Sleeping Outside

I'm sleeping outside for one night, so vulnerable and homeless youth can have a lifetime of safety and support. Youth Unlimited works with a lot of individuals that are experiencing a plethora of challenges including, but not limited to: addictions, homelessness, street-entrenchment, sexual exploitation, gang involvement, extreme poverty and so much more.

However, we understand that early intervention can help aide in changing the trajectory of a youth's life. YU utilize a client-centered and strengths-based counselling approach that is consistent with the transtheoretical model of change, wherein they can meet youth in the community where they are at. Their aim is to aid in guiding these individuals, supporting in setting and subsequently reaching their goals. Building on trust, honesty, acceptance, empathy, and empowerment; staff see everyone's potential and have nothing but their best interests at heart.
