Why Joshua Thoreson is Sleeping Outside

Hi everyone, this is the fourth year I am raising funds through YUnite Outside going towards underprivileged youth on the streets, and every year it becomes more important. Many youth across the Fraser Valley experience homelessness, addictions, gang recruitment, sexual exploitation and extreme poverty.

This is what Youth Unlimited does- they provide life changing support to vulnerable youth. After sleeping outside in the cold for the fourth time this year, I can wake up knowing I have a warm, safe space to go to without worrying about how I am going to make it to the next day.
