Fueled by a passion for people, organization, and creativity, Lara found her calling within theatre during her university years. Whether she was acting, stage managing, designing costumes, or crafting sets, she loved juggling different tasks and making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. She also pursued studies in HR and marketing, building skills that would prove invaluable in her future roles. In 1995, Mark’s life path went in a different direction than expected He was newly married, pursuing a second university degree and working for the Winnipeg No. 1 School Division when the call to serve vulnerable youth became undeniably strong. Megan has been with Youth Unlimited since 2014, supporting our youth workers with her administrative giftings. She works within our Central Office as the Office Administrator, providing support for staff, overseeing day-to-day administration and planning ahead for events and meetings. She also works closely alongside our Executive Director, Mark Koop, assisting in scheduling, planning and implementation of ideas. When not working, Megan loves spending time with her husband, Matt, and two daughters, Evelyn and Aliya. Their time together often involves walks outside, living room dance parties and eating snacks.
