Claire was born and raised on Vancouver Island. Her passion for helping others began while attending summer camps. From a young age, she started seeking leadership roles at camp, church, and school, where she could serve alongside people in any way. After high school, Claire moved up island, where she worked for Youth Unlimited Comox Valley. It was there she learned about Lifeteams, School of Youth Outreach. Clea is dedicated to inspiring youth to recognize their inherent worth and develop a positive self-identity. From a young age, God placed a calling on Clea’s life to work with young people. She now holds a Community Support Worker Diploma and a Community Mental Health Worker Certification. These, combined with her own experience as a runaway and former gang-involved youth, have equipped her with unique insights and the ability to connect deeply with youth.
