Daniel has been involved in working youth for many years from coaching volleyball and basketball, to running summer camps, to leading youth at church. Daniel loves travelling and the outdoors. Summer is definitely one of the favourite times of the year and he loves to go camping, hiking, and backpacking, and living in one of the most beautiful places in the world is a huge plus! Sharing his love of sports and the outdoors with youth has been an amazing experience and he’s excited to get to know more youth with YU!

Doug McKellan may not have the accent for it, but he was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. After a couple of years, his family packed up and headed to Canada where they joined the Canadian Air Force, moving to a new location every couple of years. Graham knows how difficult life can be for teens. “Navigating through one’s teen and adult years can be bewildering at best,” he says. That’s why since 1992, Graham has been working with YU to provide holistic opportunities for youth to walk along with someone who offers care, a listening ear, and trust. Using his love for experiencing the great outdoors, particularly on his mountain bike, he developed YU’s Mountain Life program.
